As soon as I saw the Inspiration Challenge I knew I wanted to do something with dresses...I have attempted to replicate them in some manner....I'm not sure what it is called but the middle picture was my inspiration.
I have used the flowers and jewel brads that my dear friend Peggy sent me ina a RAK - what a generous lady she is. I am havng fun using the beautiful 'supplies' that she has sent. The brads were just the perfect colour for this card.
I do have to say at this point - this is shocking photo of the card...I have taken 12 and this is the best of a bad bunch - lets put it down to too many late nights on SCS when I should be sleeping (like now) I will get DH to take a better photo in the morning and will change it - so do come back and see the difference!!! Also I sponged a paper doilie to put under the flowers and am not sure about it either, I was attempting to create an aged lace look - but, maybe I will be happier with it in the morning
In the meantime, thanks for looking, I do enjoy your comments!!

Very pretty! I love how you set off your dresses with the gorgeous flowers with brads, the lacey half circle, the CB BG and the edge and corner details. You make it look so good together!

Linda, this is drop dead gorgeous. Wow, how creative was that to use a paper doily. Before reading your narrative, I kept looking at it wondering how you did that... now I know. That's sheer genius right there, girl: that's magnificently vintage to go along with those gorgeous gowns. I think I'd better have Ryans of Rodeo Drive give you a call asap. Marvelous, darling, simply marvelous.
