I have combined 2 challenges here...the challenge for you is to see how. I have to mention that at that the images on this card are from my RAK from Miss Peggy (and friends) I am really enoying playing with them...thanks girls!!
Firstly the chocolate challenge...well, my cute little pirate is coloured in chocolate brown, both dark chocolate and milk - I tried to find a bit of Jamacian Rum (chocolate that is) but it seems that the ship sailed off with none aboard! The photo doesn't really do the card justice as it was taken at night and the flash detracts a bit...sorree!
Pearls...there is a small string of pears trailing out of the treasure chest....hope you eyes are good, it's there for the looking...'X' marks the spot!!
I made this card for my son Jacob's birthday, he is a 'Pirates' boy, even now at 14 - although he has gone from toy Pirates to those of the Carribean!! I think he will like this...it is sure to bring back a lot of memories for him!!
As I was working at the dining table I looked up and noticed that the whole family had come around and was offering opinions, we couldn't decided on whether to have brads or eyelets...but decided that eyelets made it look more masculine...so there you have it...
Thanks for looking, I always enjoy reading your comments!

So lovely in blue, in fact did you know that blue is my favorite color? Just thought I should tell you. LOL
Magical how you transformed the map and the pirate, love the bling and pearls in the treasure chest. I know Jacob will love it. The "treasure map" ribbon it very pretty.

this is just one outstanding treasure card, Linda. Love all the loot spread out in front of the card, and all those fantastic embellishments make for one great card.
