Today Kendra was the featured stamper. What a great gallery she has. I chose this one to case: Sassy Stems 1 by kendra at Splitcoaststampers
I changed a few things:
1. Flipped the card
2. Changed the image and colors
3. Popped the sentiment
4. Just kind of change the whole scene
For my scene I did this: I glued a piece of newspaper to cs. Stamped my images, versa marked and clear ep them. Cut them all out.
Put the tree on a white cs panel, sponged distress ink around. Moved the tree over just a little and glued it on giving it a shadow sort of look.
Sponged the cloudy sky and the rolling hills. Doodled the hills and panel edges. Glues on all the different colored fall leaves and popped up the bird. Added the Judith dots and popped up the sentiment.
Put this all on a white card sponged pumpkin pie. Well, thanks Kendra for letting us case you today. Hope you like what I did........TFL :0)

Where on earth does your creativity come from! I am astounded! I love the scene you created, especially the tree stamped on newspaper (!)! Your coloring and doodling is awesome, as always! Fantastic card!
(BTW, I watercolored mine with reinkers mostly.)

Nutmeg, did your family read the sunday B before you went and cut the heck out of it? Geez, I guess you have to hang onto everything in your house ~ sweet card; love your doodling, drawing and your shadowed tree. Tell sput one of her cards was mentioned in the favorites for the week. You're mentioned there too but when are you not listed there, Ms Hot shot?

My goodness.....what will you do next. Is there anything left in the craft world you haven't tried. This is just awesome. Love the use, of all things, ...newspaper. Love the scene and great fall colors......it snowed in Denver though!!!! Try to keep up with the current Colorado weather conditions. Now that is a real challenge. It could be snowing in the morning when you go to work and sketch your card and sun shining in the afternoon. Love it, sis.
hugs
