This is the first card I have made that will work for 3 challenges...and it is my third for the Colour Challenge, which does surprise me as I found it so hard to find anything in the way of grey....MIND YOU I have to add at this point that I had run out of grey, so had to rely on water colour pens for the grey factor - it is minimal, but it is there!
The actual cardstock is sponged, for something different, the birdhouse is stamped onto watercolour papers and coloured with an Aqua Pen. I have used dimensional magic on the plant pot to give it the appearance of a glazed pot. The sentiment is raised on 3D foam tape, to make it stand out. The floral squares are from a piece of wallpaper I have kept for years, inspite of being 'encouraged' to clean out some of my rubbish....I am very happy with it on this card - what do you think!?!?
I might just mention that i borrowed this stamp from a neighbour, who had it from the '80's and never uses it as it is outdated....I think it is so cute and not outdated at all - don't you!?!?
Thanks for looking and for your encouragement - it means so much!!!

Oh Linda, I do believe you could be onto something here: reinventing that 80's stamp for beginners ~ I love that image! I'm impressed you managed to cut into your old wallpaper, too. Now, talk about hard...that's a really difficult thing to do! Fabulous card, girl!

What a wonderful card! I don't think the image is outdated at all - it is so sweet and you colored it beautifully! Love the torn edges and the little wallpaper squares - they work perfectly with your design! Great job combining the three challenges!

Wow, Linda, you sure know how to make your way in my heart. LOL Using blue like that will keep you in there forever!
I was wondering where you got that so beautiful blue design paper...wallpaper, you are so resourceful. I love the stamp. The hinges, well they are so cute on your panel. What to say except truly Linda Style! Love it girlfriend. TFS
I may start a Stampers Anonymus phone line, if you feel you need it, you know the first step into every cure is to admitting you have a problem. Just kidding! I know what I'm talking about as one addicted to another, or should I say a passionate to another. LOL
