A quick and simple card made for the TLC192 Napkin Technique challenge. This scrummy looking cake is cut out from a napkin. I don't have freezer paper so I used the method with acetate I was taught ages ago.
I cut roughly around the cake image and peeled off the bottom 2 layers of the napkin piece. Then I used a glue stick to apply glue to some thin acetate and smoothed my image onto the acetate piece. I then glued the acetate to a piece of CS, again with a glue stick, and left it to dry for a bit. I then trimmed the image closely. I added some Ultrafine gliiter to the decoration on top of the cake for some sparkle.
The card is made with the Sizzix Bigz XL Scallop Card die and I tied some lilac gingham ribbon round. The sentiment is from the PTI 'Piece of Cake' set. I popped up the cake onto layers using foam 3d sticky pads. Three Doodlebug jewels applied to finish.
