I've been working my way through the sketch challenges (no particular order but there are so many I haven't done!) and this one challenged me! It's a large card (4.25x6.5) and I couldn't decide what to do with all the different spaces!
Well, one of the other things I'm trying to do is use of some the hoards of paper and stuff I've accumulated! I had these flowers from Jolee's, paper I'd received in a PIF, and paper (green) that I'd received as samples from an online store that sells handmade paper.
The yellow flowers don't show up quite as well as I'd hoped on the green (they're kind of a vellum) but it was funny because I used glassy glaze to stick them down (regular glues weren't working well and my mono was a pain on these tiny items!) and it made the petals curl up! They've settled back down to flat now.
I stamped the purple with a flower background stamp I got from somewhere and pierced to finish. I think I'll give it to the pastor and his wife for pastor's appreciation month!
