Ok, I saw the WW challenge go up, even though its still Tuesday, and decided since I had time to jump on it. I had no idea what I wanted to do.
I do know the only current Rub-Ons I have are the Seasonal Sayings from the Holiday Happenings bundle. So, I decided to use the whole bundle for my card this time.
The background is the DSP. Then I used the flower from the Seasonal Icons set, stamped tone on tone on the 3 colors, and cut them out by hand (since no punches allowed). Also, instead of punching a center white circle, I used my Signo Gel Pen to color in the centers. They are popped up with dimensionals.
The sentiment is a rub-on...I actually split it up to fit on the opposite sides.
I just love this Double-Stitched grosgrain. I need it in Chocolate Chip I think. I tend to hoard it because I love it so much, so I wanted to challenge myself to use it. I have seen several cards where people tied off a section of the wider ribbon, and sometimes added the pearl beads. I threaded a piece of linen thread and wound it around the Baja Breeze ribbon a couple times before tying it off.
Really it wasn't too challenging of a card, other than cutting out the flowers. I like it. It seems really busy, but hey sometimes I like busy.
Enjoy, thanks for making me think on this challenge!
