Oh My Goodness! Pat is so sneaky! She told me she was getting me some stamps for my birthday. Guess what showed up in the mail? Some postage stamps with MY FACE with my pup Buddy (the same photo as on SCS). I about dropped to the floor when I opened them! And my Mom got the biggest kick out of them, too! I am seriously going to be hoarding those!!! Thanks, Pat and Virg, for sending such a great & oh so thoughtful gift! (I am not sure that a photo of them will turn out OK...I am gonna try and if it works, I will update this photo to include those.)
Guess what else they did? They have both been making cards and selling them to raise money to buy postage stamps for my card ministry! When Pat first told me about it, I was so stunned. And to receive "the first" 100 stamps today was about the biggest encouragement I can think of.
Sending out as many cards as I do (I recently scaled it down to 10 a week due to cost), it really adds up to a lot. With this help from Pat and Virginia (Virg001), my postage worries are much, much less. Pat and Virg - THANK YOU BOTH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!! You are both so very dear to me and I love you both!
Pat also send me these sweet Halloweenie stamps for my birthday - they will be perfect for making cards for my little cousin!
All that is not to mention this stunning birthday card - I LOVE IT, PAT!!!
THANKS AGAIN!!!

This is such a thoughtful gift. Stamps sure do get expensive at some point. You are so giving, nice of Pat and Virg to put their efforts together and share the love your way. Good for you and them and especially the kids who will recieve all these cards made with so much love.
When Pat told me about this, I thought it was a wonderful thing to do!! Leave it to her to think of such a special gift!! I'm so happy that this will allow you to keep sending cards to your kids, I'm sure they look forward to them!!
