I loved this limited, Judy! Thanks for getting up back to basics...mine is rock and paper and paper cutter.
I was so happy when Cloud 9 Designs decided to make some of their popular quotes in stamps. The sentiment I used today by Washington Irving is part of the Laughter set. I stamped it with ColorBox black pigment ink directly onto Paper Houses' Monet paper. I love this ethereal beauty...letting the imagination take you where your mind will go. The niche is a Stampers Anonymous image inked with Palette charcoal, embossed with metallic bronze. I used SU going grey for the paper. I added mirror paper and attached it to my base. The cs is Brazzil a purple/blue.
This quote reminds me of "A" sunset my DS and I shared driving home from church one late summer night...it was as if the heavens had opened up and the light amongst the clouds was magnificent! For sure, it was the briefest of moments, but I am so thankful to have been in that place! Thanks very much for your comments. Happy Weekend

Gorgeous! I had the hardest time figuring out what was in the middle... now I see... it's your fingers and camera! The mirror paper is intriguing... I may *need* some! That DP is perfect with a mirror too... love it!

This card is awesome. It reminds me of that story in Malachi where the silversmith is refining the silver with his watchful eye on it while in the fire. He knowS just what point to pull it from the fire at its purest form and when polished, his final validation is when the creator sees his own reflection back. Isn't that just like God??
