I combined three of the World Cardmaking Day challenges for this card - the Featured Stamper challenge, the Limited Supply challenge, and the Color challenge.
I really, really liked the layout of Sherry's Flirting with Pacific Point card, shown here: Flirting with Pacific Point by SherryLC05 at Splitcoaststampers
So I borrowed a lot of the design elements. I changed the colors to fit the color challenge. Then I realized I wasn't using any pastel colors or patterned paper here, so it fit the Limited Supply challenge, too.
The hippo was stamped twice and cut out. I cut the head from one body, added two small scraps of cardstock to the back of the head for some dimension, and mounted it on the other hippo. You just have to love Cutterbees and Tombow Mono Multi for jobs like that. I borrowed the idea for the grass from Taylor's Pretty Pink Elephants card shown here: Pretty Pink Elephants by stagccva at Splitcoaststampers but I didn't use the blender pen like she did - I simply stamped the giraffe's mane repeatedly.
Thank you to all the WCMD challenge hostesses for making this a fun and challenging occasion!
I have to admit I wasn't sure at first how this card would turn out, but I was pleased with the end result. If you like it, please let me know by leaving a comment! Thanks for looking.

That hippo is super-cute.
