The background panel was first stamped with a swirlie stamp in baja blue, then overstamped with a piece of scrunched up plastic bag. Next it was stamped with linen background in baja blue and then french script in silver encore.
The background for the bird is polished stone using various blue re-inkers and silver encore on an alcohol-dipped cotton ball.

Love all the different techniques! Each one is really great, but you pull all these unique ideas/techniques together, you've really created an work of art worthy of being framed!
