I made this set for today's Try a New Technique Challenge... This was a new technique, and I loved it... These would make wonderful little gifts, along with a book and a card.. I used the Sweet Always DSP, and because it is so pretty, I just decided to decorate the triangle part of the bookmark. I layered Pink Pirouette, which I stamped with French Script in Bravo Burgandy and sponged around the edges with Pink Pirouette. The little design is cut from the CB Vintage Die Cut. I cut the lace edge out with the Martha Stewart scallop edge punch in Bravo Burgandy. That was about all I did to the bookmark. For the card, the base is Bravo Burgandy which I layered the Sweet Always DSP which I stamped also with French Script in Bravo Burgandy and also stamped Baroque Motifs with VersaMark and embossed with burgandy embossing powder. Sponged Pink Pirouette all around it to make it look worn a little. Added my flowers, the centers are brads from Marah Johnson, and ribbon... My mother loves to read, and her Birthday is just around the corner, I think I will turn this into a Birthday card for her... This was so easy to make, and I think they look awesome.. FTL.
