This challenge gave me the opportunity to use something I had bought by mistake. I picked up the large floral print patterned paper recently at a craft store when they were having a sale. I liked the color combo. But when I got home, I realized this paper had a shimmer to it. I'm not a shimmery, shiny, glittery, blingy (etc) kind of girl. So I was kind of disappointed because I figured I wouldn't get to use this. And it got put in my huge stash of paper. Then I read the challenge. Ok. I can do this.
I received Puppybella and the sentiment in Wish Rak (thanks Lisa and Jessica!) and thought she would go well with this paper. I added lots of sparkle to this one. The paper is shimmery, then I used my clear glitter pen to color in the flowers on her dress and her purse and the bow on the dog. I thought that this Bella would be the type that would want a dog that matched her wardrobe, so I gave him the same color fur as her hair and added a bow to her hair to match his. She also didn't look like she was wearing shoes so I drew in some strappy sandals and glittered them up too. I also drew my glitter pen around all the swirls in the other patterned paper. then I added sparkle and a Bellas bauble to the flower punch. In the right light, this card is very shiny. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I tried to scan or photograph this, it just doesn't show. Well... you will have to take my word for it!
