This is for Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge this week -- to make a card inspired by Julie Koerber's lovely creations and use mainly red. You can read about the challenge here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
I was so excited because I love Julie's cards and I LOVE red. I chose this card of Julie's Mosiac Poppies by outtoimpress at Splitcoaststampers and went from there. I love her layout and the way she stamped on patterned paper.
I used my new Papertrey goodies: Pure Poppy cardstock and the Remember stamp set.
The paper I stamped on is from DCWV's Old World mat stack.
The scallop was done with the scroll lace punch by Martha Stewart.
I used my red Sakura gelly roll glitter pen to dot the poppy centers -- it's hard to see in the photo.
