I had a hard time finding a stamp that I really wanted to use today, that's why it took me all day. I even went to LSS (bought another stamp I've wanted), and nothing was jumping out at me. Finally settled at 9:30 tonight on this 'moldy oldie'. I stamped w/white pigment then embossed with white. Used guava ink pad & blender pen to shade around the quilted hearts and then sponged guava around the edge of the vanilla c/s, mounted on ruby red.
Card base is guava layered with ruby red, then guava DP (same paper, flipped over) that met in the middle. I punched strip of ruby red w/an MS border punch & layered guava ribbon. For the sentiment, went to Fresh Cuts (smallest sentiment I think I have) on vanilla in guava ink, sponged edge & mounted on scallop circle punch popped up on dimensionals. Finished off with 5 brads that are as near to guava as if SU made 'em.
I actually sewed the edge with a cream thread, but as I was walking from sewing room down 2 flights to stamping area, stopped to help daughter with homework. She saw loose thread & pulled it, but I didn't see & she didn't realize until after I had put tape on the back side what it was, and dork here didn't even realize it was missing til too late .. Oh well ...
Wait, no, it was piercing, Yeah, that's it ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol.
Like the sketch - but need to special order some more stamps ... all my drawers-full just aren't enough.
Thanks for looking. (and listening to my rambling)

This is gorgeous. I LOVE the stamp you chose. Ahhh after all that work and time creating and planning I think I woulda cried. This is wonderful. Great sponging. I stink at that. Really like the paper piercing. It is a great addition to the stitched hearts. I miss this color. You created a beauty here. Thanks for sharing...
