This is a standard A2 envelope that I cut the end off. By crimping the larger side, it became just a bit narrower and the smaller part slides right over it. The next photo in my gallery shows it with the top removed and the insert card pulled out.
I made the cut at 1 -1/4 inches and the insert at 4 by 4 - 1/4 inches.

Dang, your good. I looked at all of your work and even your web site (I bookmarked it!!) Love the post-it note covers, plan to make many for little stocking stuffers. Thanks for the pattern.

This is beautiful. The deail in your hand cut work is over the top. I like the shading, the paper piecing, the cringing, the stacking....it all ends being simply breath taking. tfs
