It came in two color schemes and I picked the blues and greens, partly because those are my favorite color tones, but mostly because I needed to make a birthday card for Ian who will be turning 9 soon and these colors seemed to fit a little boy better than the oranges and pinks of the other one.
I used not quite navy for the background but it looks more like pacific point in the picture. I tried to play around with the colors but if I got the blue right, then the greens turned muddy so I left it where it is. Oh well. The background was run through the birthday CB folder and even though you cannot read an entire "happy" or "birthday" on it I am still pleased with the texture and impression it gives. As for the rest of the card, all it took was a few minutes with all of my circle hole punches. In all I used the 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 3/8, and 1 1/2. Who knew I had that many!?! I didn't!
Thanks for looking! What do you think?

Love these brightly coloured graphic-type cards. I think they're perfect for 9 year old boys who are too old for most of the kid stamps, but not really men yet, either! Great job!

I dont know how you did this, but it sure is a fabulous interpretation of that umbrella! It's outstanding! Too bad Ian will never know where the inspiration for this gem came from! Awesome.
