This is for the second VSN challenge this evening. We were to be inspired by a favorite book from childhood. My all-time favorite was the Raggedy Ann and Andy "Thank You, Please, and I Love You" book. I used red, white, and blue because of the colors in the dolls and the 'Thanks' was inspired by the book's title.

I used to love reading Raggedy Ann and Andy books. I have one of each of those books sitting in a basket by my bed with the Raggedy Ann doll that my Mother made for me and the Raggedy Andy doll that my mother in law made for my husband. I love how embossed the background.

Very cute, Trace! I love your interpretation of the Raggedy Ann books. I don't think I owned Raggedy Ann books, but I certainly owned Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. Love this!

Loved Raggedy Ann and Andy then, and still do now! It is so fun reading the inspiration for each card and seeing how memories are translated to paper and ink! Great card!
