This is for today's sketch challenge. This is the card I originally planned to make for the sketch until I got side tracked with the butterfly one.
I thought the sketch would make a great shadowbox card. I had to change the measurements to 5 x 7 to make the front a square. The chicken's body is paper pieced and the rest of her is colored with prismacolor markers.
The sentiment is from a very old SU! set called Roosting and it's white embossed.

I had to comment a second time. This card just makes me laugh, it catches the eye and I tried to sketch out the rooster to see if I can pice one together. Just too cute.

This is just the cutest rooster card I have seen. Love your colors and your attention to detail....the raffia and eyelets. It all adds up to a wonderful card. TFS!!

This is so cute. I love how the rooster looks. I like the raffia for hay. I like how you have the x stiches on the diagonal. The papers that you used are great.
