This is for today's sketch challenge. This is the card I originally planned to make for the sketch until I got side tracked with the butterfly one.
I thought the sketch would make a great shadowbox card. I had to change the measurements to 5 x 7 to make the front a square. The chicken's body is paper pieced and the rest of her is colored with prismacolor markers.
The sentiment is from a very old SU! set called Roosting and it's white embossed.

This is wonderful. I just love your take on the sketch. Looks great dimensional. Love the chicken wire and the paper pieced chicken. When I was a little girl I had a pet chicken. Henny Penny. She would ride around on my shoulder. I loved her so much. Your card brought back a warm fuzzy for me. Great job. TFS

This is so clever! I just love how you did the rooster and the papers you used!! The chicken wire is great and so is the raffia!
