This is for Cindy's Teapot Challenge, #8 http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2008/...tuesday-8.html
This was a beautiful teapot.
For the background I used some Rayher clear stamps stamped onto white card. I layered some vellum over it so that it wouldn't be so dominant when I added the main panel; I used 4 brads to attach the vellum. The main image from Flourishes Fantasy Garden was stamped twice onto white card with Versafine Black, and then embossed with black sparkle EP. I cut out the main flower and layered it up with foam. The white panel is edged with a clear Sakura Stardust pen, and matted onto black Bazzill, with the edges embossed with the black sparkle EP. The sentiment is edged the same way, clear Stardust on the white oval, sparkle black EP on the black oval. The flower panel and sentiment are both layered up on foam.
The little buds / berries were highlighted with Diamond Stickles.

Wow, I can see why you are liking this even though you don't normally like black and white! It is very striking...and I love the background stamping behind the vellum. Awesome card! and of course, I love the black and white polka dotted brads!
Thanks for the link.....thanks for making a card and joining me for tea! Even though you are SO FAR AWAY!!!
