Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
We live in Jacksonville, FL. And, right now, the city is scrambling like mice, because Hurricane Fay is on her way. I DREAD hurricanes, and quite frankly, am scared. My parents live about 5 blocks away, and they, and my husband, refuse to leave. (In 2004, 2 hurricanes hit Jacksonville, 6 days apart, and I lost my roof. We went without electricity for 38 days, and STAYED in the house, because we have pets. Shelters do not take pets.
So, in honor of TODAY, and the day BEFORE the storm, I made this card for Mother. She was LAUGHING last evening, because she was prepared, and I wasn't! LOL! Hey, I've got a CASE of TastyKakes! It's all good! LOL!
The flowers were stamped in VersaMark and embossed in gold. I colored the flowers with markers.
The ferns and butterfly are punches.
I used Nestibilities to cut the circles and squares.

Absolutely Awesome Card!!!! Hope the storm passes you without any damage. My area is hoping some of it will come our way because we need the rain. We are on mandatory water restrictions which is unheard of in the mountains. Good luck today.

Faye, this is another stunner, I love the fern & Butterfly punches that you used they add so much to the card... I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers hoping that "Fay" doesn't pick up strength and goes out to sea....
