Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
We live in Jacksonville, FL. And, right now, the city is scrambling like mice, because Hurricane Fay is on her way. I DREAD hurricanes, and quite frankly, am scared. My parents live about 5 blocks away, and they, and my husband, refuse to leave. (In 2004, 2 hurricanes hit Jacksonville, 6 days apart, and I lost my roof. We went without electricity for 38 days, and STAYED in the house, because we have pets. Shelters do not take pets.
So, in honor of TODAY, and the day BEFORE the storm, I made this card for Mother. She was LAUGHING last evening, because she was prepared, and I wasn't! LOL! Hey, I've got a CASE of TastyKakes! It's all good! LOL!
The flowers were stamped in VersaMark and embossed in gold. I colored the flowers with markers.
The ferns and butterfly are punches.
I used Nestibilities to cut the circles and squares.

WOW, yet another beautiful presentation of your card Faith! I always wondered if I'd get much use out of those fern punches so I passed them by. After seeing your card today I may have to reconsider! LOL Thanks a lot for being an enabler
