I decided to have a bit of fun this evening and brighten up what had turned into another rainy day by playing along with the DD theme for the month - All That Glitters.
This has bling and glitter aplenty - I haven't used this much glitter on one project since I used to mind a little 5-year old girl.
First stop was my glitter paper to choose two that would work with the sketch.
Next stop was stamps to find something that would fit the big oval for the sketch. I coloured her mostly pink to match the paper, her boots are gold and her gauze scarf and umbrella are highlighted with Diamond Stickles.
The edges of both ovals are sponged with Brilliance Orchid Pink, and then have a fine line of gold paint inside that. I used 5mm red-line tape to make borders around each of the panels, and used pink and gold ultra-fine glitters. I added pink and gold bling on the panel and in the corners.
It's all on a pearlescent card - and since it's 10 pm here, this is the best photo of 10, which isn't saying a lot!!
