This is for today's Ways to Use it Challenge which can be found here:Forums at Splitcoaststampers
The challenge was to use scraps to make our projects. This one used up lots of odds and ends! The jar was purchased a while back at Hobby Lobby after seeing a similar jar in Target with all the tags premade. They had a price of $15 on it which seemed outrageous!
The jar contains tags that were cut out with the colluzzle tag template and then bugged with a variety of embossing folders. I used the computer to make labels for each tag to mark milestones in the baby's life such as first tooth, sitting up, etc. along with tags for the parents, grandpaents, etc. Almost all of the tags have a mat from another scrap to mount a photo taken at the occasion. This will be for my step-sons baby that will be born at the end of August.
The jar at HL was $4.99 reg. and coupons always help!!! The rest is all scraps of cs, lo stickers, buttons, embellies, etc. from other projects. Just added a few stamped images. All the cs was scraps which I save to the smallest piece...never know when all you need is a tiny, tiny speck!! Probably the only thing that wasn't a scrap besides the jar is the ribbon!

What a great idea! Everyone gets a baby book....but a baby Jar!
Thanks for sharing. My niece's shower is in Sept and we are making her a toybox/hope chest and I think this would make a great addition to the whole gift!
