All the coloring is done with Prismacolor pencils (OMS) and H20's to deepen the shading....white acrylic paint is used for the accent dots.
I used embroidery floss for the stitching around the image. Diamond Glaze on Obertos eye patch and sword handle. The image is glued to the torn red layer and popped up with foam dimentionals over the night of navy layer.
The map is colored here and there, sponged with a bit of old olive ink .....crumpled, distressed and then the edges were sponged with close to cocoa ink.
Polly parrot was a blast to color...cause they can be any color. Part of Polly is raised on dimensionals.
There is gold embossing on the four corners of the card.

This is SUCH a work of art, Ila. This is so gorgeously colored, as always, and beautifully laid out. I love the thin map panel like that, and your distressing is perfection! Love the colorful parrot too. You're so GOOD girl!

Wow! You really put a lot of work into this! Well worth it because it is fabulous!!! Love all your great coloring techniques, your stitching is awesome, and that little key is so cute! Love the parrot too! Great wonderful card! TFS :0)
