All the coloring is done with Prismacolor pencils (OMS) and H20's to deepen the shading....white acrylic paint is used for the accent dots.
I used embroidery floss for the stitching around the image. Diamond Glaze on Obertos eye patch and sword handle. The image is glued to the torn red layer and popped up with foam dimentionals over the night of navy layer.
The map is colored here and there, sponged with a bit of old olive ink .....crumpled, distressed and then the edges were sponged with close to cocoa ink.
Polly parrot was a blast to color...cause they can be any color. Part of Polly is raised on dimensionals.
There is gold embossing on the four corners of the card.

Fabulous Ila!!! Oberto is wonderful and so professionally coloured as always. You've really captured the pirate theme beautifully. I think this set will be coming my way LOL! Hope you don't mind but I've linked you on my blog list?

OHHH MYYYY GOSSSHHH! So many amazing things on this card...your coloring!! The stitching, key, cute...cute parrot~colors on him are fabulous!! The slant of the map...brad in the wheel, I just LOVE it!!
