Let�s get cooking! Since my challenge is mid-day, I thought I would do a classic lunchtime meal � the sandwich. A favorite lunch meal at my house is Grilled Cheese sandwiches. There is just something about the cheese melting and crispy golden bread that is so yummy. Peanut Buttter & Jelly runs a close second. I also like a good egg salad or chicken salad sandwich. My husband likes ham and cheese with lettuce, mustard and mayo. MMMMMMMM! So, what�s your favorite sandwich?
My challenge to you is to create a page using the sketch below and create it like your favorite sandwich. All pages should start with two slices of bread (top and bottom borders) and each item you add to your sandwich is another layer to your page. Your photos are the main ingredient in the center. The first sketch is a basic one. This is like my grilled cheese and ham. The bread is the yellow, the blue is cheese (yep, I like two slices of cheese) and the middle is the ham. The second sketch includes some embellishments. Yellow is bread, blue is lettuce, flowers are pickles or mustard or mayo, middle is ham/cheese. So you should have bread and a main ingredient (photos) and build from there.
Examples: (built top to bottom)
Grilled Cheese - bread(top border), cheese(photos), bread(bottom border)
Grilled Ham/Cheese - bread(top border), cheese(border), ham(photos), bread(bottom border)
PB&J - bread(top border), Peanut Butter(border or photos), Jelly (photos or border), bread(bottom border)

2. You have 2 hours to complete the challenge. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted his/her challenge in your Upload Description.
3. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD MAY11VSBNA when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen by the host and all visitors.
Great challenge Michele. I'm just popping in to peek while I wait for my friends to show up and pick me up. I'm going to try and do all the challenges tomorrow waiting for them to come home.

Gotta hate when you run into technical difficulties...having trouble getting the printer to read 1 picture...off to try another way...
I actually did a real paper page for your challenge and after taking a photo a little while ago I couln't find the memory card adapter for my computer. Also, have no clue where the cable is that hooks my camera and phone together. I tore parts of the house apart looking for it. Finally found it and now photos are uploaded.

LOL! Sounds like you and I are having quite a day with technology :-) I now have the photo and am starting to pull paper...
Ok here is my sandwich PB&J and all my embellies are the chips I like to have with my sandwich. I made my page orange to go with the pics and also with my apricot jam! These are some very old pic (1998 ) when a bunch of nurses went out after work to celebrate Halloween. The red devil with long hair is me.....oh to be that young again. TFL

Fianlly got on computer! DH was hogging it! I have a question before I upload. Can I combine this challenge with SIC98-MARVELOUS MOMS challenge? I know I can't combine the VSBN challenges themselvers, but with othere?

I'm not positive but I was under the impression you can use other challenges but you aren't suppose to combine VSBN challenges....
