I use it all the time - especially with pencils/gamsol. My Dick Blick markers work well too. However I think it is a bit too flimsy to use for the main card itself, so I'll use it for stamping my images, coloring, then layering. It works just fine. And you can't beat the price.

I use it for almost everything--card bases, stamping with dye ink, coloring with Bic Mark-its, coloring with Versamark ink and chalks, and coloring with Rose Art colored pencils and baby oil. Using watercolor crayons works alright with it, but only if you are not layering with too much watercolor; otherwise, I use watercolor paper for more layered watercoloring. And you can't beat the price! I don't feel guilty about trying different color schemes on this paper. :-)
It's good for the Prismacolor and Gamsol... but it's a bit soft for Copics (for most people). I personally like it, but I don't really recommend it for beginners as it sometimes causes feathering.

i bought some GP when i was taking Colleen's copic class on MCC....yes, it feathered! (and yep, i was a copic beginner!!!!) so, now i just use it for layering and stamped images that do not require much copic coloring. very affordable paper!

I use it and Neenah. It is fine for a base, plenty heavy and I use 80#, and embellish heavily. I also use it to stamp and color with copics sometimes. You have to learn that it is a different coloring technique than with say Neenah or a smoother, heavier cardstock. More feathering, so do not color right up to the lines. But it is an alternative worth trying, because it is really far more economical than anything else out there.
Yes..it is great cardstock. I always buy 4 reams at a time and then go to the office supply store and have it cut in half. It saves me so much time with the amount of cards I make.
blessings.
GP is all I use except for specialty paper, of course. I stamp on it, use it for bases and ATC's, color on it with everything (prismas, ink, Copic's). The price is such that I don't worry about trying new things that might not work.
