Default SU Clear-Mount Stamp Cases

Hi there

Did anyone get these from the occassions mini? It says they are about the size of a DVD case is that about right (anyone have the measurements)? Are they that "thin" as well so you can just put unmounted stamps inside. Just trying to get an idea as to how much it can hold. Can it hold stamps on both sides in side the case and still close?

Thanks !!
Maria

They are the exact size of my dvd cases (5" x 7.25"). You can definitely put clear or unmounted rubber on both sides. You can put cling-mounted rubber on both sides, too...but it will be a little squishy (but it shouldn't hurt good quality rubber)

The cases are "sheer" not totally clear, and you can make a paper label if you want and slide it into the holder on the outside to show the stamped images.

Default DVD Cases

I have heard that the DVD sized cases are plastic and not acrylic and therefore the stamps don't stick in them very well. Can anyone comment or have any suggestions on how to get them to work for you better?

Hmmmm, whatever they are made of (plastic I am assuming), mine stick great. Never had a problem of anything falling off yet.

Mine dont stick too hot to the cases but I put the labels on mine so maybe that is why. Many people are actually saving the extra portion that the stamps come on..the rubber and cling mount squares and you pop out the images...they are saving those and sticking them to the case and then putting their stamps back in their hole they go in.

I can put 2-3 stamp sets in my DVD case tho so I dont save mine back and do this. I dont really care if the fall off. It doesnt bother me that much.
PS...this is not all my stamp sets that wont cling to the case. I mostly noticed it on really small images or sentiments.

I have had no trouble with mine sticking at all. I did not use the stickers with my new clearmount sets, so that might make a difference. Plus I am starting to unmount my retired sets and they are sticking great too.
