Default Big Shot vs Cuttlebug-Do I need both?

I have 2 cuttlebugs--the original and V2-which I haven't used the V2 yet. I'm debating on needing a big shot--I want one, but do I need one? I use my cuttlebug so much that I have the V2 for backup in case I break the first one.

Should I get a big shot--if so, should I keep a cuttlebug? Sell on craigslist or at the scrapbook stores yard sale?

Thanks for your help.

So, I had both and sold the Cuttlebug. For me, I liked the sturdiness of the BS better. Plus I find it a lot easier to use with all brands of products. I do have the electric one. Epitome of laziness, I know, but it was a gift from generous MIL! I adore it!

As a side, the BS does have a bigger footprint, so take that into consideration if you have extreme space limitations.

I own the CB and Big Shot. I use my BigShot for textile work. I use my CB for all my messy work. I have this recurring nightmare of running a piece of expensive fabric through my BS and it comes through with ink or paint on it, lol. Which is probably silly since I never got ink or paint on any of my Cuttlebug projects. I love both machines. I am blessed to have both. I tend to rely on my CB more. The Big Shot is a lot sturdier. It does have a bigger footprint when working in a small area. The CB loves to wobble and it has pinched me a few times. I have all my recipes memorized for the CB. I know that doesn't seem like a big deal either. If your doing a quick project it's nice to not have to dig through your notes for sandwich orders with your dies. Since you have a CB that might be a factor to think about. It's cool too if you just want a BigShot. Life is short and you should always have something that makes you happy.

I had both for a while to compare (I was able to get the Big Shot at cost).... and I sold my Cuttlebug. I just find the Big Shot to be more sturdy and stable. Takes up a bit more room, but that's OK with me.
