Default Help with Cricut Cartridges please

I have the following cartridges:

Disney - Happily ever after
Disney - Dreams come true
Disney - Mickey and Friends
Accent Essentials
Doodlecharms
Plantin Schoolbook

I have NOT used them at all yet in my expression (I don't even know how to use it LOL)

Can anyone show me any work they have done using ANY of the above so I can see what can be done with them?

TIA

I dont have pictures but I have the Happily Ever After cart. I used it to make decorations for my DDs princess party. It is alot of work tho with all the layering and glueing. I love the Accent Essentials. That one is great for cardmaking as you can make a ton of things with it.

I don't have pictures either.
Just dive in! It is so much fun. Pick a character and go for it!

Default i am new too

I have had my expression for 3 days now and have cut lots of things...too many as I have been playing and trying to layer stuff...its a lot harder than I thought.

For example in the accents cartridge, I have been making flowers. Trying to layer 3 pieces. The first in regular cut, then shadow and then outline shadow. I was under the impression that the cricut would adjust and cut the 3" flower a little bigger for each one. Not. Then I reduced each by 1/4 inch and they still don't line up.

I wish there were more instructions on how to layer and use the cartridges. I guess for us, its a trial and error thing.

I did join the cricut yahoo boards and of course here. Spending time reading posts in hopes of figuring this all out and getting the cricut bug!

Best to you....just play away!

I have both machines and love the Expressions one.. but I do make a lot of things for my kids classmates and it allows me to cut many at one time.. I did want to send a link to the Cricut Message boards.. there are lots and lots of ideas using the cartridges you have.. Pam
