I love, love, love the SU 2-way glue pen. It is not only cheap but holds like nothing else I have tried. It is not messy and when creating a card it can be repositional.

Scotch double-sided tape for most things, glue dots for embellishments, TTT for things that really need to stay put. I used to use duck and they carried it at Joann's. No more?
steph

p.s. I love my coluzzle and I tried the CM one also and hated it.

I switched to Tombo's Mono Multi (green and white bottle). It has two applicators but I have never used the broad one. I also did 75-100 cards with one bottle - a very thin line along the edge (maybe 1/8 inch in) is all I need. The bottle says acid free.

I used double sided tape but it was kind of a hassle and I used it kind of fast! Glue sticks make the cs "buckle" when I use it. So Mono multi for me...

Some one said it is moveable for a few seconds - for me that works only if I move it immediately. I have not tried Undu to see if that would help for repositioning. Might be worth a try if something is really in need of being moved.

I keep trying to use the Hermafix permanent, but after using one roll, my dispenser is SO gummed up, it won't function or roll properly. I feel the removable does not hold well enough for long term, so I am thinking this Tombow two way glue sounds good. I think I'll try it!

Yeah, the next time I'm in Michaels or ACMoore, I think I'm going to pick up the Tombow Mono Multi in the green bottle.

I've been using the Tombow Mono Adhesive tape runner thingys and they are not sticking. My stuff is falling apart.

Eventually,I will probably try those 3M ATG guns as well.

I love my ATG 714. I, too, have everything created out there and I have to say this is the best thing I have ever used. It is easy to use, easy to change the refill and best of all things stay stuck. I live in FLorida where we have high humidity so good adhesive is a big deal here.

I use double sided tape... the name on the tape is "sookwang". I get it from a stamp store called "Be Creative" in Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada. I'm not sure if you can get it anywhere else. I think they call it "Terrific Tape".

I've used SU snail, but I can't stand how everything falls apart. I don't like glue because it's messy and I hate sticky fingers. :-)

I've heard a lot of good things about these, but have never seen them in a store. Do you know where you can buy them and how much they cost? Also, how much are the refills?

I've been hearing good things about the Tombow mono-multi, but I love the Duck adhesive runner. My Walmart still has it, too, and it's much, much better than the Tombow runner I used to use--never gums up or slides around in the holder.

Red Duck rollers. Nothing comes close to the ease, the holding power, and at just over $2 each they are also very inexpensive. I have a box of 15 other options but always reach for Red Duck permanent easy stick rollers.

Just wanted to post a word of caution: if you are using snail, and sending your cards off right away, they may be falling apart sometime after they leave you. (Not to sound ominous, but who wants that!?!) I have heard that S.U! glue sticks are great for adhesion and they are great for price. Glue dots are a sure thing, but a little pricey if you make a lot of cards. I'm not as pleased with dotto or snail. The sticky tape from S.U. is amazing for no fail stick on special projects. Crystal effects also works as a great adhesive for beads etc. Happy gluing,

I finally ended my search for the perfect dry strip adhesive when I got my ATG 714. I had been secretly stalking EllenH's posts and blog site, where she was talking about the ATG714 but I was too cheap to buy it at first. But I committed to a huge party favor job (275 nugget boxes, yes I am crazy, even more so NOW that its done) and I went through 4 refills of mono before I broke down and got the ATG gun from framingsupplies.com. It's so worth it -- the gun was $30 or so, but the refills are cheap, cheap and they just keep going and going.

Just to put it in perspective, I think I did the first 22 nugget boxes with 4 rolls of mono? I used all the mono refills I had. (Nugget boxes use a lot of adhesive)

Then to finish the remaining 250+ boxes, I used only 2 refill rolls of the ATG tape. TWO REFILL ROLLS!!! And we still have a little left of the 2nd roll! I chose to order the more expensive "gold?" refills when I got my ATG gun, but they were less than $4 as I recall for each roll. I have 4 rolls left and they will probably last me a lifetime.

If you're thinking about the ATG 714 my advice is JUST DO IT!!!! THis thing just goes and goes and goes, it's like the energizer bunny.
