Question Luminous Pearls

I have tried what seemed to be a fairly straight forward technique, but had two problems. My paper curled something terrible when I coated it with the pearl ex/lumiere mixture. Used glossy card stock and regular, both had the same effect. The other thing that went wrong was my mixture looked kind of muddy. Not the pretty blue that was in the technique illustration. I am pretty new to stamping and this was my first venture into a new technique. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you using SU paper? SU paper tends to be heavier/better quality than other papers.

Possibly too much mixture that you put on the paper that it make the paper buckle.

I don't know have any ideas about the muddy aspect

Good Luck

Ahh! SU paper. I was going to say yes, because all of my paper is SU -- except the white and cream. I had decided for other reasons that I wanted to try the SU white -- what I have just doesn't feel as good as SU. So, I bet you are right. I will order and give this technique another try. Now about that muddy color... I'll have to try that again too. Thanks.
