Viewmaster Help

For those veterans of the Viewmaster card - I am stuck! I have my nice little circle all done, with the holes punched on the end and I'm ready to put that blasted little brad through the teeny tiny hole to make the wheel go round - but oops! the wheel goes way out of the card - In the instructions it doesn't appear to give a specific place that the brad should go through the wheel - should it be in the center? If it is - my punched hole in the upper right hand corner is off - can anyone help get me out of the fog here and see what I am doing wrong?

Haven't made one but it really seems like the hole would have to be in the center of the card and the circle for it to work right.

we did this at our club and the hole has to be in the center. Otherwise it turns really funny and the images aren't shown right in the viewing square.

Yep girls - it does have to be in the center - I played and played and finally looked up where julie ebersole had done one in a magazine that I had done and it was easier - her larger punched hole was also more in the center - then it worked fine! Until I did that as minheeyim stated :it turned really funny!
