Can everyone please upload their gorgeous creations of this technique to the Technique Spotlight Gallery for Dazzling Diamond Dust? It's at the bottom of the alpha listing, after the "W's" when you are choosing your gallery to upload to. Then we'll have a wonderful gallery to showcase this awesome technique . . . thanks!
Okay, here is my card using regular white cardstock--it is still pending as of 11:26am. It turned out very sparkly! Thanks, Beth, for this challenge--I love the results!
I'm a cheater pants...made this card in my workshop last month, but never uploaded till today! How I wish this set would be able to be in the new catty, all my customers love it, and by the looks of how many of us used it for this technique, I'd say it's pretty darn popular! goody!!
R U the one who RAN over Chuck Norris? By the way...Chuck Norris seems to be the butt of jokes all over the internet, anyone know what's up with that?
My husband is one of the crazies following this internet site with jokes about Chuck Norris. It got me laughin'! :-D
Well... I really wanna get some Iridescent Ice.... I had to use the clear e/p and fine glitter. The glitter shows better IRL. I stamped up a half sheet of white glossy, and made 4 cards from that.
Here they are: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
(I kept going with the clear e/p after the glitter layer to see if I could get a smoother look... it got yellowed.... so I decided to make it look old and distressed.) Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
gonna have to try this. I don't have II so I will have to combine the DD with clear EP too. I'll stamp tomorrow. Thanks for the great challenge Beth!

Here's another one. I couldn't resist trying to sketch on that glossy paper and to color with markers. I was thinking I might have to trash it since the paper is so slick. Dazzling Shade
I am so late getting to this thread today. Still trying to play catch up to all the Scrapbooking challenges this weekend. I am really really slow making scrapbook pages and cards so it made me very nervous, but I did get a lot done and they are all uploaded. Now I can concentrate on this challenge. Maybe after dinner, which is late because I lost track of time and didn't get the pot roast on the stove early enough. I got the hint from DH when he got out the big covered pot and put it on the stove. Bless his heart.
Here is another card I made for Christmas '05 using colored cardstock as a base. It really is sparkly and beautiful IRL (not that I am biased or anything, LOL!)
Take a lookie see
I did this on cream card stock and I can tell (at least in my opinion) that this is NOT the card to use DD on. Lemme know if you agree as well.
I used a mix of clear ep & dd glitter. Tried it first at 50/50, but thought that was too much glitter, so I changed the mix to 1/3 glitter and 2/3 clear ep.
This was fun but I think I did too many layers around the outside so you can't see the flowers around the edge.
