Wow - You definitely have confidence in me! You�re ready to direct your card to me before I�ve done the dare. I need to discover a stamp with a duck among my stash then I can create. I'm the old-fashioned kind who stamps and doesn't do digital. I'm behind the times!

I'm glad so many people like that saying stamp!! High Hopes has quite a few stamps of frogs!! I REALLY like one of the new stamps - has a frog, is not a small stamp!! But the facial expression of the frog is FANTASTIC!!
Here is a dealer of High Hopes that lives in the US (in FLA I believe). Her stamps are sold UM unless you pay for cling or I know at least one stamp that has the cling on it. She also deals with several other kinds of stamps:
Rosiebudstamp, don't you have a sister on here also? Rositagustafson (sp) ??? Haven't seen or heard from her in awhile. Is she doing OK?
Marion, How far back did you go for your heritage scrapbook? I am gathering info still and want to make one, but I want to go back as far as possible but can't get any pics.. And Actually, I was a member of Ancestry.com but wasn't sure all the info from other people was correct so Do I really want to go back that far???? I just don't know where to start. I have NEVER done a scrapbook before.

Yes I sure do ......She's been on lately putting cards in her gallery....busy with summer and life. The kids should start school soon so then she may have more time to be back on SCS again

I did it! When I first saw your dare, I thought "oh no!". I didn't think I could discover in my stash any stamps with a duck! Then, I found two of them. Your dare forced me to make a duck card and with the help of two other challenges, I had an enjoyable time making this card:
Hi Donna... My mother had so many pictures from 3 generations back on her side of the family and I was unsure what to do with them as I knew that my kids would never remember who they were as they were stashed away in a box.. soooo.. my friend holds scrapbooking days and was a huge help.. so I now have them scanned with the originals pocketed behind the scanned picture to perserve them from fading more than they were and a a little journal piece about each one that I could remember... I am so happy with it . so I guess the oldest picture I have is from the 1880's. Getting started was the hardest part as once you get going it just seems to happen. Don't know if that will help as I had something to start with and did not do much research per say. And what is in there is just things that I had. Pictures, articles out of newspapers, marriage, baptism and death certificates etc etc.. I am not a scrapbooker but this was fun.

G'morning AlphaQueens. Thank you all so very much for your support and care. I can not tell you how much it means to me that y'all do really care. I cried myself to sleep last night the pain was so bad and then I only slept 2 hours and woke up crying again. Ron is furious with the Doctor for not calling in someone else to take a look at me. I can't tell you how angry I was with the doctor's office. I really got frustrated with that nurse because she just wasn't listening. I am calling the office on Monday and demanding to see the doctor. There is no sense in me going to the ER. As soon as they hear what's been going on they tell me seeing the specialist is my best option. I've went down that road too many times. It gets tiring being sent home with no relief. I am sorry I don't have my D card done yet, however, right now it seems the only position I can handle is reclining and I just can't make cards in the reclining position. Once I am able to sit up for a half hour or so I will definetly make my D card. Y'all have been so supportive thru this painfull time in my life. I honestly thought the worst of the pain was behind me now. Jeanette, you have fun at your expo, altho I will miss your daily posting...I think I can handle celebrating National Soft Icecream Day two days in a row. hehe... Lauren, WELCOME BACK!!!! I am so glad you are joining us again. Do not worry, I do not have my D card done yet either....I am thinking I am gonna need someone to dare me so that it forces me to sit and get a card made. It just hurts to sit like that kwim? There are still a few people from the first three rounds you are so right and I am so thrilled they are still here with us (Does anyone know what happened to Raduse? or hsclaly?)...and I love that we are getting newcomers all the time. It does make it so much more fun. Especially since the dareing is so much fun!!!! So, yes, I am glad to see you back too. Now we need to get Yvonne back here. Oh and Ashdale. Ok ladies...I need to get my mind off this stupid pain so I am going to do two things...one post an extra challenge so someone can earn some of my points and two..post to the wall of fame. Dawn was relly upset because she tried telling the nurse that when she looked at it last week she had to feel to see what I was talking about however when I had her look at it a few days ago she noticed it right off the bat because it's now sticking out even furthur and the nurse didn't even acknowledge what Dawn had said. Ok.....before I post this extra challenge I must ask y'all....Have y'all seen the cards that Donna makes with sewing/cross stitch??? OMGosh if you haven't you need to. B E A U T I F U L ! ! ! Nope! Fair is fair! There is a story behind it, but not a nice one. So, back to the tounge twister drawing board. I LOVE Marney's tounge twister though!

Marney has aced the tounge twisters!); a person in my office (I worked in education where every dollar came from either federal grants and taxpayer money) always found a way to "dip" into the funds by coming up with ways that HE would benefit the most...all of it legit but I sure didn't feel comfortable about it. So glad I'm out of that stress now!

OMGosh I don't blame you for feeling uncomfortable. I worked non profit before I was hurt. I had a boss who would try to hide money and seeings how I was the legal advocate it really put me in an akward position. I know you said you don't want points, however, I said I would give them to you if I heard the story and I am a woman of my word. Thank you for sharing the story.
