CC188: Basic Pirouettes
Ok, here is the real challenge!!
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month - all the challenges this month will have a pink in them. Especially since most of us are women, this affects all of us and we should do whatever we can to support the cause and raise awareness. My husband's mother died of breast cancer when he was young, both my grandmother and aunt are survivors. It is so widespread that it affects almost everyone's family somewhere along the line. So here's the first of the Pink Challenges - and it's an easy one!

As always, I am open to suggestions for future color challenges! Please pm me if you have one. DO NOT SEND ME AN EMAIL!! If you do not include a sample, it is harder for me to use it! I will probably not respond, as I get several, but I save them for future reference!

Checked in early since my DS had to leave at 5:15 to go to Washington DC with his 8th grade class! Cup o' java in my hand is great this early when it's still dark outside! I'll check back later Emily.

Wow, you girls are early risers! I'm just waiting for DD to jump out of the shower so I can dry her hair ... I love that she lets me blow dry it for her, I guess I'm still cool (she's 13 so I'm on borrowed time ~ LOL!). you ladies are too funny. I just felt bad that Emily was still up at 2am! I always check here when I first get up so I can plan my card for later in the day and there are usually 3 pages of up loads by now. I can't believe how many late night stampers there are  |

wow! you don't?!? Well, if/when you get them, you will love them.. and you know you can sub other colors, right?! Don't let the in-colors keep you from playing along.. plenty of other people use other stuff, non-su even. And, if I recall correctly, Emily usually gives and alternative to the in-color.

After the challenge has been posted, you just make a card according to the "rules" and post a picture of it in your gallery. Do you have a gallery? If not, we can help you set one up! |

Hi, Lorraine, and welcome to the challenges. As soon as Emily posts today's three colors to this thread, just create a card using them and post it in your gallery. Be sure to put CC188 in the keyword section of your card description so it will link to the challenge gallery!! Can't wait to see your card!!
Today's late post allowed me to complete 12 thank you cards I have had hanging over my head!! Yipee!!!
Will be back later to play today's challenge!!

wow , you re all quick to reply thank you to you all , i appreciate it & will keep checking back to see if the colors have been listed.
i do have a gallery though theres not much in there at the moment ! I would appreciate some feedback though, there are very few stampers where i live who can give me advice & constructive critisism !!! |

I really appreciate the link you posted, Wendy, on "What is a Challenge". I have a gallery and I understand how to put a link in but how do you change the name of the link without losing the link (such as "My Gallery" in your signature line - when I link I get the http: address line of what I want to link, not it's title). If you (or someone else has) have the time to "teach" those of us who don't know it would be appreciated! Thanks!

Yorkshire lass, the one thing I've noticed with comments (and I've done the same) is what you get is a comment, and it's always positive, otherwise no one comments. I'm wondering why no one ever gives constructive criticism with card designs? If I don't like something about a card I don't comment. (Maybe I should have PM'd Yorkshire lass, I apologize if that's the case).
