Can anyone help with this:
My mom received a wrapped box, that is apparently empty but it had a verse on it saying it was full of love and friendship etc and that the box should never be opened............

This is a very special gift
that you can never see,
The reason it’s so special is
it’s just from me.
Whenever you are lonely
or even feeling blue,
You’ll only have to hold this gift
and know I think of you!
You can never unwrap it,
Please leave the ribbon tied,
just hold the box to your heart
It’s filled with love inside.

Does anyone know what the verse is?
TIA
does anyone have a picture of one of these? I'd love to see what they look like! Thanks!

I have seen these when they are turned into magnets. They are cute.
i have been going nuts trying to find you gals!!! I just started doing craft fairs and I was following this thread a while ago and lost it now I am subbing so I never loose you ladies again
I wanted to also share a site with you gals that I get alot of craft fair listing from it's called eventlisters.com you can find events in any state and it will give you all the information about the event too. I have gotten quite a few events already from it. It also has a weekly newsletter that comes out with very helpful tips in it.
I tried the event lister site. Nothing in my area unless I buy a membership. Anyone know of any other ways to find craft fairs in my area? TIA!
Ask. . . Ask. . . Ask. . . Have you ever heard that old saying it's not what you know but who?
I'm no expert, but if you tell all of your family and friends that you are interested in doing craft shows next time they hear something they will let you know.
You can also check with the local church/schools to see if they have any on their schedule. . . check the current event calendars in your local paper and city. Sometimes (online) they have events months in advance.
Hope this helps. . .now I'm going to take some of my own advise and e-mail my friends and family to see if they know about any shows.
Most states publish an Event Calendar. You can get this from the Chamber of Commerce or at Welcome Centers. I use regional bi-monthly publications to see what is happening in different state zones. Georgia has divided the state into regions that publicize all sorts of events from sports to fine arts. There is always a festival or craft fair section. They give the phone numbers of the sponsors who can tell you their participant criteria.
My son found a publication of all the Georgia craft events that cited the typical number of attendees. It also had a lot of other information. Some of our Georgia Craft Fairs are juried. He found he could be very successful at the huge flea markets around Atlanta. There are few vender requirements and the entry fees were small.
What is the bi-monthly publication that you use for Georgia, I've used the eventlister and all the crafts fair's in the Augusta, GA are a 100 miles or in the Atlanta area, or in SC.

Georgia that is so cute!! See, I can't think of things like that:(
No, I don't have pictures. I am still working on my samples. I started my samples this past weekend but right now I am not in the right frame of mind to finish this week due to my BF passing away yesterday. So, hopefully this weekend I can get some complete. I will post pictures when I complete a couple.

Hey, Robin from a Louisvillian transplanted to FL,
I think it depends on size and what you have inside. I price my clear acrylics at $20 with a matching card. I sell whatever I make.
Hope you don't mind me asking. When you make cards to sell do you put saying on the inside and if so what kind? Do you have to stamp them or do you ever use poems and ect. off the computer?
I am getting things together for my relay for life team. i am having a booth at a local craft fair and was wondering if anyone had some more ideas that i could make and sell with the proceeds going to my teams fundraisng goal.
i am doing some stamping on candles and going to start on some tile coaster this weekend. does anyone have any pointers on the stamping on tiles before i get started?? Thanks for any and all info~~:-D

Hi there, this time of year it's hard to say what would sell! It is almost time for Mother's Day, Father's Day (hard to buy for...) and there seems to always be a LOT of babies born this time of year too! Maybe card sets with a baby theme tied up with a diaper pin, mini scrapbook show off books for new babies too. I had good luck with inexpensive scrapbooks at my fair in November! I also had good luck with the little tins filled with goodies too and decorated to match. Since you're doing the relay for life why not make some of the water bottles with the pocket hanging off of it with a flavor packet and a granola bar?! I bet those would be good for team comaraderie gifts! You could even do some end of school year teacher gifts..... lots of ideas here but I'll stop! Good luck with whatever you decide!
I am so glad that I found this thread because I have been thinking of having a table for a baby fair. I love the ideas your listed, Michelle! I'd love any more ideas having to do with babies. Of course, onesie cards would be cute!
Have those of you who do this often ever tried a very simple hands-on item - something they could pay $1 and make on the spot? My time to prepare items to sell is limited but I would love to drum up interest for my classes. Any input is welcome!

I've never done a craft fair but thinking of doing one this year. how about precut cardstock you can even make them in the shape of a onsie. make some card candy that come from your stamps and put 2 sided tape backing on it. they can choose how to make their card. Is quite fast and you can drum up interest for your classes. With their dollar they can have a professional looking card and an envelope plus a business card
Goodluck

I left the inside of the "can cards" blank unless they were for a specific occasion like birthday, anniversary, etc. My friend and I found that individual cards just don't sell well unless they're special order. Other posters have noted the same. Good luck to you.
Did several craft sales, and I priced things $1-3.50 depending on the labor intensity. Doing the sales that I have have been in senior centers and I don't make a ton,but usually sell many cards,I leave the insides blank, once in a while I put a saying in,it makes the blank cards more versitale. Last year the hot seller was coasters. Year before it was post its. Just depends. Beaded pens too.
Location: somewhere between S.K. and waiting for both kids to be in school.

How much did you charge for the cards you sold in senior cecntres????
Hi Ladies...
Has anyone sold the 3x3 notecards with the matching little bags/purses? How do they do at craft shows?? How do you price them? Thanks for any advice!
