I always forget to do this technique too!

I've also seen cards where white craft ink has been used instead of versamark.

Maybe next week we should do reverse poppin pastels

Great technique. This is the first I've done it - here's my take. Next time, I'll ditch the light color chalks and stick with the darker colors.

Floral Thanks

Haven't ever tried this technique before but when I saw it and how soft the cards are, I knew what I wanted to do. One of my dearest friend's mother is dying of Alzheimers and is in the very last stages now. It will be too difficult to make her a card when I actually need it so am trying to make a few now that I can choose from when the time comes.

Here's my attempt at this technique:

This is a card I did this morning, simple but cheery, I think!

Happy Place

The color didn't photograph well, may have to do another, though you don't have to twist my arm for that...lol

I stalk this thread every week, gawking over everyone's beautiful creations, and thought that this week I would actually post. I have a poppin' pastels card in my gallery already, so this is kind of cheatin' I guess, but I haven't had time to sit and create anything today.

Anyway... here is the link...

I stamped, I stamped, I stamped! It has been forever since I have been able to sit down and just stamp for fun. It's not a great card or anything and the kids destroyed the house while I was stamping, but it felt good to get ink on me. :-D Thanks for looking.

I combined this challenge with Inspiration Challenge #19 for this one. I'm thinking this might have been better with a smaller punch for the pigs but they just barely fit using this one. I also got a new oval punch this weekend and couldn't wait to use it. I think the tags out of ovals will be something I use a lot.

This is a great challenge! I did this technique last Thurs. in my first stamp camp, and was inspired to change the coloring of the daisy by some of the more artistic ladies that came that night. I used craft white ink instead of versamark, too.

I hope this link works!

Here is another one--I kind of messed up on the first stem, but I really like how the flowers and the bee came out!

This is a fun technique. With my not so great eyesight, just seeing the versamark stamped image on white card stock was a challenge in itself for me. Trying to get the right color of pastels on the parts of the image that I wanted them on added to the challenge. Here is the results.... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
