I went through the galleries this morning and found several sets I had that didn't have index cards, so I uploaded them. I posted on the other thread as well, just to make sure.

took me forever to get around to it, but I finally uploaded the index for Life's Special Moments. Thanks for eveyone's hard work to get this incredible project done!

Some of my older stamp sets only show up in the gallery after I do a "search." They are not listed alphabetically with the other sets. For instance Topiary Two Step does have an index card, but it does not have a gallery. It is not even listed among the "T-U Sets," even though the index card shows that it should be there.
If I make cards with that set, I cannot upload to the correct category.
Question... Is someone working to create a new gallery for these old sets even though there are not many cards?

This was discussed in August on one of the other threads involving the index sets:
In regards to the old/retired SU sets that don't have current galleries...
Per Jenn (JBalcer):
We certainly appreciate all of the time and effort that has gone into the gallery index iniative. It's such a great addition to the gallery!
Yes, I did make a comment on one of the threads that we would add galleries for the retired stamp sets. And yes, this will be done as time permits, and if there are already samples to populate the new gallery. We had previously said that we would *not* add any retired sets to the gallery listings, and have since changed our position on this.
It does take some time to get new gallery categories set up, and to get everything moved, and we appreciate your patience as we do this.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Yes I am the person, that was upset by the retired indexes I had made were not having a gallery, so Jenn B posted that reply. TO DATE, no galleries have been made for the retired sets. Therefore I have stopped doing the indexes--My time and CS and ink are just as valuable as anyone else's, I will not waste them until I see they are being put to use. I have a lot more sets I can be making indexes for, once I see the others I have made in their own gallery, I will continue to make more indexes.
There seems to be one piece missing lately from the index process. For the sets from the Winter Mini that have been indexed (Butterfly of Happiness, Carte Postale, and Love Matters), the index card is showing up on the main page for the Winter Mini:
But the index isn't a sticky when you open the gallery for a particular set, which was how they were set up on the original huge group of indexes. I'm sure this is just an oversight. Can the Winter Mini gallery indexes be made sticky like the other sets? It sure makes it easier to see the entire set if the index card is easy to find!

I need to check with Jenn on this because I think there were some changes made when we did the server switch a few weeks ago and now I don't have the option of making them a sticky for the galleries... I will let you know what I find out when I find out... Thanks.

Hello again--I just uploaded one more index card--Remembering You (Simply Sent kit stamps). I love having a few minutes to stamp--and making an index cards makes me put my new stamps together and ink them up to get them ready to play!
Just checking out the gallery and there are a bunch of sets form the winter mini that don't have index cards yet! (since I don't have any....yet) I'm hoping you all will upload an index for these sets too!
If you are just looking to index what the images are in SU sets I always cans/photocopy the sticker sheet before mounting the stamps. This way I have an index without wasting ink or cleaning fluid. Also make copies for my stamping friends so they know what I have (SU wise).
What images look like stamped depends on so many variables - ink, type of paper/cs that this just works best for me.
Ok, so I've had a little time on my hands and have created a few index cards. They are in the index gallery and are for the following sets:
bunch of bugs
delightful doodles
fun phrases
girlfriends
girlfriends accessories
have a ball
little inspirations
simple sayings
simple sayings II
holiday spirit
sun ripened
warmest regards
a greeting for all reasons
nice & easy notes
snowflakes
yule bits and borders
friendships grow
I've also gone through the galleries and made a ms works spreadsheet (I don't have excel on this computer) of all of the stamp sets in the galleries that do NOT have index cards. I was part of the group of people who was working organizing this a while back and I just thought now would be a good time to follow up. The list is 213 stamp sets long, which I think is pretty darn good considering the number of stamps sets in the galleries. I am NOT including the winter mini, spring mini, or SAB. I have 5 more stamp sets in that 213 set list that I can do, and then I am wondering if we can start another thread to solicit a final plea to get these older sets covered.
I hope it was okay for me to upload on Sunday. I just uploaded Stipple Orchid and Charming Children.
Yep, not a problem. If you do more can you upload them to the Index Gallery? Thanks. It just makes them easier for me to find when I go to change them. ;)
