I've gotten paint off stamps with warm water and...

I've gotten paint off stamps with warm water and a toothbrush. It probably depends on what type of paint though. I would try putting them on a hot, soggy washcloth and then using the toothbrush.

As far as keeping the blocks clean, just put masking tape around the base of the rubber on the wood block. Then you can trim the excess with scissors.

Also, I'm thinking that the contact paper...
