I never thought of standing or jumping on it--what a good idea! LOL. I returned my punch to the LSS because even my DH couldn't get it to go through one layer of cardstock! I wouldn't get it again.

I use scotch brand double-sided tape. I got a package of I think 4-5 for under $10 at Sam's Club. I'm not so sure it's acid free, so I strictly use it for my cards and not my scrapbooks. :)

I tend to use the ultra-fine detail black powder the most. I bought UTEE for thicker coverage & cracked glass techniques, but haven't used it yet.

I too have the BS & LOVE it! It is so much sturdier than the cuttlebug 4 of my friends have. It is bigger, but space wasn't an issue with me. I wanted compatibilty (with both have) and durability....

Yes, I've always cut 3 or more times like you said to layer the parts in order to get the look I want. I always waste a lot of paper, so I am interested in everyone else's suggestions too.
