oh dear oh dear - I have to say that this release has completely wiped out my resolve to be better behaved with my crafty purchases! But I can totally justify my Verve - classic stamps that never go out of style!
You and me both... Good thing I don't have any kids going back to school or I'd be borrowing from their back to school supply fund methinks.

My Great Friend card. For some reason this release inspired me to try out several new things - including these swirly jewel things (which for some reason I REALLY struggled with. LOL). You should have seen me making this card trying to attach those stupid jewels! I was loudly swearing going "THIS is why I don't use this kind of crap" (only I'm pretty sure I wasn't saying "crap"). ha!
oh, loving this all over again, Jen....it's just stunning, plain and simple!!
By the way Laurie, my brother lives in Whitefish. I've never been to Montana, but if we do go to the mainland next year - we may take a sidetrip out to see him and check out that area. I've never been to that part of the country and it looks absolutely beautiful!! He's really happy there.

I took the easy way out and just used a cartridge, Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I don't have a lot of cut files downloaded just yet. Having a hard time finding them.
Kelleigh Ratzlaff (the Digichick) and a lot of Hybrid template designers and digital scrapbooking stores are starting to convert a lot of their hybrid template to cut files. Kelleigh has a lot of cute templates. I have a Silhouette that I've had since last NOVEMBER that I literally JUST figured out how to use!! LOL. So I'm now addicted to those stupid cut files!! But check out Kelleigh's stuff. She's super sweet too.
Well, my clothing budget is shot, my hair cut will have to be postponed, the kids are going to be short a few school supplies and I'm going to be one happy girl with all my new Verve LOL!!!
Question for you Julee: Do you have a barter system available....as in packaging stamps prior to release in lieu of buy stamps???!!! I'll even pat, brush and feed Katie.

I'm a little (or quite) late to the party. I've had some health issues and missed all of the sneek peaks leading up and all the fun Verviness going on this month.
Julee, Love the Great Friend "rerun" from your blog. I missed it so it's all new to me. Loving all the new sets I'm seeing just glancing through this thread. I'm trying to take it all in at once!!

is it wrong of me to say that it is nice to hear one of our stamping idols say that she struggles with the same things as some of us lesser mortals? ;) I can't do those jeweled swirls either!

I have problems sticking three in a row on a card, never mind a flourish!! Good for you for keeping with it. Great card.

oh, cool, thanks!! i KNEW you'd know who to turn to!! i just got my Cricut about a month ago and haven't gotten to play too much. I want to get more into it when the girls go back to school ....monday!!
