I am so sad to leave before all the sets have been revealed - but my kids are having a really hard time staying in their bed.... sigh!

Yeah, an EXPENSIVE little hop. I've never understood why a round trip ticket AWAY from here is so much more than a round trip ticket to visit Hawaii is!? A lot of people who live here buy then the other way - an open-ended round-trip from the mainland and then use half of it for each leg of their trip. Then the next time they travel, they wrap up the return leg of their last trip and buy a new open-ended round-trip ticket and use the first leg of it to come home. But you usually have to use it within a year and the way things have been we haven't been traveling to the mainland that often for me to feel secure enough that I'd definitely use it within a year.
We're going to the mainland in October and it cost us over $3000 for all 3 of us to fly from Maui to Wichita, KS during the off-season - you know, tourist mecca of the U.S.!! LOL. But the same dates traveling from Wichita to Maui would have only cost $1750 for all 3 of us. CRAZY.
Wow. That is crazy!!! I probably shouldn't tell you this (but I'm gonna anyway...teehehehee), we just picked up tickets from Montana (in the middle of nowhere mind you) to Zurich Switzerland (so DH and DD can go see the grandparents) for $1000/ticket. It seems like it would be much shorter to go from Hawaii to KS. That just doesn't seem fair...

Ugh. That is totally not fair. Flying is just way to expensive in general, but sounds like you have an exponential increase over there. Sheesh!
Yeah, well - it's why we haven't been on a real vacation in oh, FOREVER! LOL. Seriously. I am SO TIRED of our vacations being spent visiting my in-laws. Next year I REFUSE to go to Kansas or Oklahoma on Vacation!!! (no offense to any Okies to Kansans our there, but, well, ya know...it gets old). Oh, and we haven't been out of Hawaii in 3+ yrs!! I need to get off this rock!! :-)
And you have NO IDEA how excited I am to set foot in a Michael's and a real Scrapbook Store!!! and a MALL!!!
