Default Unmounting Help - No sticker on wooden block

I've began the unmounting process with some of my less expensive stamps and the image on the wooden block isn't a sticker - but an actual image on the block that isn't removable. So what do I put on the back of my rubber/foam image that is no longer the wooden block - it seems super sticky from the glue attaching it originally to the block.

Thanks for helping a newbie.

You could always scan a picture of the image and stick it to the back of the stamp or, ...stamp the image and stick it to the back of the stamp.

I store mine on a transparency sheet that slides in and out of a page protector. I don't have an image. I can move the stamps around on pages easily when I want to re-organize, and can't say I've ever missed having a stamped image.

I have unmounted all of mine and about 99% of them have no sticker on the back. I did stamp the image on the piece of cardstock that faces the mounting board, but that is it. I can honestly say that I have never figured out why I need it on the back of the foam. The ones that do have stickers on the back are the SU clear mounts. I put the stickers on before I figured out that was not a good idea. They don't stick to the acrylic block very well. Now when I buy SU, I leave the sticker off and they work so much better. Some of my Hero ARts are that way too.

I never stamped the image on the back of the foam either. Using a clear block, you can see where you're positioning the stamp anyway. I just never bothered doing it.

I don't put labels on the back of the stamps I unmount but I do write an arrow pointing to the top of the image with a sharpie. This way I know I'm staping in the right direction.
