Default 12x12 Paper Packs and Expedit cube from Ikea

I have quite a few of the 12x12 paper packs from DCVW and some other companies as well. I am planning to get an expedit cube from Ikea for my scrapbook room. So a question to those who have expedit cubes,

1) Would these paper stacks fit in those cubes?
2) for those who have both expedit and these stacks, do you store them directly in those cubes or do you put them in one of those plastic containers that fit the expedit cube.

Thanks so much,
Banu

I have tons of paper so it just put the paper in the cubes. The two top cubes are all paper. One side is 8 1/2 x 11 and the other side is 12 x 12.

Thanks so much for letting me know. That was the only reason I had not bought it so far, not knowing if the paper fit in those cubes. Ikea site just gives the overall measurement, not the measurement within the cube (or maybe I did not see it :((

I have a question for those putting paper straight in this not in a container. How are you covering it to keep the light from fading your paper? I don't have a nice looking unit like the Expedit yet so I use an older dark colored bed sheet to cover up my shelving unit when I'm not in my room using it.

I'd just hate to cover a nice unit such as the Expedit with a sheet so I'm assuming the paper needs to go in something that looks a bit nicer than my sheet method.

Well my cubes are in the corner of the living that doesn't get much light. I have had my paper directly in the cubes over two years now, and have not had any paper fade.

Well, that's good to know. I've read many posts on SCS from people who have had paper fade along the edges due to light hitting it. My understanding was that it didn't have to be direct sunlight.
