Are you thinking if this is too far away for you? Maybe not! This swap is located 12 miles from Hartford, 45 minutes from Milwaukee, 45 minutes from Madison, and 1 1/2 from Appleton. Plenty of hotels in the area if you want to make it a total girls weekend. Even a nice hotel in Iron Ridge.
Set Up from 9:00 10:00 a.m.
stamping 10:00 5:00 p.m.
$25 Per Person cost will cover room, prizes, lunch, snacks, chocolate, drinks and much more!
Door prizes, garage sale, tons of fun!
Please see attachment for shoebox swap instructions, optional swaps and instructions, and application form.
There will be a "Garage Sale" so bring your stamp/scrap items priced to sell. No current Stampin' up! merchandise to be sold. Please limit your stock to half of an 8 foot table. Due to an overwhelming Sale last year, we do not want all space taken up by the Garage Sale. Thank you.
Fill out attached application with a check to guarantee your spot due to limited space by July 17, 2010. This will give all stampers a month to prepare their swaps. We will notify you of how many cards you will make ahead.
Don't be discouraged if you are a newbie or not sure of yourself, we want to welcome you with open arms. There will be people there that will be willing to help you. We want to make this fun for all type of stampers!
Excellent!!! It's a ways off, but unless I'm headed to CA to hang out with DS, count me in!

Hi Ladies, I live in Belgium so this is SOOO close that I will definetly want to be there, and will try to get a couple other SCSr's I know to go! To maximize our "swapping options" would anyone consider allowing additional swaps like a lottery item, additional card, anything but a card, scrapbook page etc? I would be willing to help with this the day of if that would help... JLMK!
Thank you for your post. I am so glad the hear that this shoebox is being considered. We hope to make this a success. I reply to you question about additional swaps we have details in the attachment in what swaps we are including. Which I think is most of them lol. Please let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks again and talk to you soon!

Hi all stampers. I wanted to just let you know that we are making some adjustments to the info we posted in our original post. The changes that we are making will have no effect the to swap itself. As soon as spiffers and I can hook up on a day to make all the changes, we will post to let you know. I am hoping this will take place by this weekend. The adjustments are basically so that people will have a better understanding of each optional swap and also to attracted stampers that may be closer to us then they realize. So hope to hear from more of you soon since we are already in May!!!! Can't believe how fast this is approaching. We now have 5 registers. Got another in the mail this week. Yippy!!!!! Talk to you all soon!!!!
Tamara
The snow melts and we all abandon our computers to run outside. Yard Sales with sooo much to alter, Not to mention just enjoying the SUNSHINE!!!! I have to finish cleaning my craft room before I can play and make cool things for this swap. Thank goodness it is in August......that should be enought time....for a procrastination queen like me;)
In addition to the message that tns103198 left a couple of days ago, we have made the changes to the original message about this swap. Again, for those of you already signed up for this Swap, this will change nothing for you. We added some information to hopefully help others decide if they would like to join us. There was some information added to the instruction sheet so that everyone has a better understanding of what each optional swap is about.
Are you one of the stampers that just wasn't sure if you wanted to join us or not? Check out how far away we are from you. You may be closer then you think. We hope to have all of you there. Don't be discouraged if you are a newbie or not sure of yourself, we want to welcome you with open arms. There will be people there that will be willing to help you. We want to make this fun for all type of stampers!
Thanks to all of you for viewing and hope to hear about you attending soon.
