Well, I made it to Arlenes, and had a fun few hours, not as long as I wanted to, Rich and I had a graduation party to go to, but I had fun, thank you Arl
It will be awhile befofe her feet are in the ground. Right now she is at tara's-many are being treated to brunch. But I voted to sleep in. when they are finished there. They are heading here. To see allen's beautiful job of building our new staircase. Allen planed raw oak himself. In place of railing we build bookcases. Love them. And the lower wall is some of my favorite wallpaper. I've stored the paper for more than 17+yrs. Just waiting for a forever wall. Love to see it everyday!!!!!
I'm looking/thinking for my oldest sister, tammy. She doesn't get the stamp & paper world. But she's a quilter. Just retired from teaching. On her way up here from NC. She stopped and shopped for fabric. I had googled quilt shops on RT 81 north, through PA. Told her about SCS. Just thought it would be silly if each craft didn't have this fabulous site, you know!!!

I'd ask my quilting friends, but I'm positive they wouldn't use something like that. YOU are computer whiz compared to them!!!
Hope that site is like this for sis.
It seems like forever since I did a get to together session. (It's on my calendar.) It seemed as tho it took almost as long to login to splitcoast... I get the newsletters but haven't gone on the site in almost forever! (I made it! Yeah!!!).
3 of DH's siblings, their families, FIL and MIL are coming here July 20 so I need to finish the last part of the living room decluttering. I'm sitting on the living room floor sorting through the box of donated cards Linda T collected originally for R McDonald House and putting backers on the glittered cards and giving them envelopes, putting in bags so Linda B can give them to Pounder Hall at the Eastern Star facility. LOTS of glittered cards!!! The non-glittered I'll sort into categories for troop cards to be finished at a later date. We sure do make lots of swaps, don't we??? Break is over! Back to the cards.

I have a huge bag of glittered cards done so far with lots more to go! DH took today off and has been doing lots of yard work. He loves his new lawn mower because mowing goes much faster now.
allen is burning his and the neighbors waste wood. he's outside enjoying his firepit.
matthew went camping w/friends. just overnight.
later tonight I'll put my bisket in the oven. low & slow overnight. matthew has requested my spicy beef brisket. by the time he comes home I'll have it already for sandwichs.
Thanks! I respectfully request NO glitter cards please. I have assembled hundreds yesterday and today and think that Pounder Hall/Eastern Star Home will be overwhelmed with how many I have for them. I'd like to get back to cards for the troops.
YEAH! Finally finished the card sorting and assembling! That's a big box out of my living room! I have two bags of glitter cards for Pounder Hall. Progress! Now I have to put away stamps and stuff that I dumped on the floor from Expo shopping, etc.
Anyone want to buy the Pro-Form 4.0 X elliptical that's sits in my living room and mocks me?? 2008 Honda is still for sale, too!
