I decided to host a Shoe Box Swap at our house in North Carolina. It will be Feb 6 if any of you know anyone around that part of the country. I just informed my husband I would be going there for a week or two in February, and was going to have a stamping weekend! LOL he will stay clear that week.

Any of you New Yorkers who travel and stamp all he time, got any fun things you are going to be participating in coming up you want to share with us folks here in Boston that may be within driving distance?
Andi...... a few of us are going to northern NJ next weekend....... but unfortunately, registration is closed.
We already have one scheduled in February just north of Binghamton... I'll find the date for you.
As well as Syracuse in May....
It'd be great if some of you ladies could venture this way. We'd be happy to put you up somewhere...
As soon as the threads are up for these gatherings I'll post them here.
Maybe we can talk someone into having a gathering near Albany NY... that would be somewhat in the middle!!

95 is about the only way to get down there, and it is pretty clear in the winter because of all the travel on it. We always time our trips for traffic through NY city and DC. The worst thing that ever happens in NC is freezing rain, but it doesn't happen often, so we will never know until the time gets closer.
If you do a google maps for Henderson, NC from your place you will see the drive is pretty much interstate travel. Tolls suck though. There is always the train or plane though!

I finally made it to Ink About It this morning!! I took an Amuse calendar class - it was so much fun! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the store.... it was less than 30 min from my house. Oh I'll be going back there soon! :cool:

Well, I have the standard 10 days or so off from work for the holidays, so for about half of that I'll be in NY. Mostly with family in the Albany area, but also making some tentative plans to head Utica way for some stamping time. ;) Will you be in NC?

Well, I have the Monday off..... but won't I need the Tuesday off instead??
Are we talking about stamping in Utica? I need to be back to Albany by 4pm Tuesday. But can come out anytime Michele is ready for us on Monday. In fact, I may come out Sunday and hang with some teacher friends.
